Why EARDREAM.
EARDREAM’s mission centers around the earliest detection of Alzheimer’s disease for everyone worldwide.
Alzheimer’s disease is the leading cause of dementia, which is characterized by a gradual decline in cognitive abilities that significantly interferes with activities of daily living. By 2050, over 150 million people will be affected by Alzheimer’s, leading to trillions in healthcare costs.
Alzheimer’s disease is a continuum, with its current diagnostics occurring at a stage where cognitive symptoms are already apparent, caused by 20-30 years of silent disease progression irreversibly damaging the brain. This results in zero available cures, as Alzheimer’s disease is too progressed at the time of diagnosis for any treatment to be effective.
EARDREAM is combatting Alzheimer’s disease by establishing next-generation and affordable diagnosis and intervention to ensure comprehensive access and prevention for everyone.
